Certified Hardware Root of Trust on the Consumer Devices

The NAGRA Advanced Security Certification (NASC) ensures security specifications are correctly implemented on consumer devices (e.g. set-top boxes). As part of NASC, NAGRA On-Chip Security (NOCS) provides a unified and certified hardware root of trust, recognized by the industry with more than 80 million units deployed from the major silicon vendors. Both NASC and the underlying NOCS are supported by content owners as key elements of securing their content on service provider networks.
