NAGRA Service Management and Delivery products and solutions are a core component of the NAGRA Federated Headend, which is built to provide an operator with the tools to manage, secure and operate from a single environment a wide range of media services. It can deliver services across multiple delivery networks, devices and content types, allowing subscribers to enjoy a seamless digital entertainment experience without boundaries.
Maximizing the Monetisation
NAGRA’s products and solutions support an extensive range of services ranging from broadcast TV and multiple forms of VOD to applications stores and other interactive services. They offer a wide range of business models to better suit each user’s need including subscription, pay-per-view, pay-per-time, “à-la-carte”, event-based purchase models and also promotions or addressable advertising.
Flexibility and Openness
As functionalities, devices, content and applications are being added, flexibility is of the essence. NAGRA’s products offer a truly open platform, built upon a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). They are supported by a full SDK enabling a service provider to easily modify or add services on their own and to integrate with existing backend systems and other third party services. They have built-in modularity and extensive configurability to perfectly match each service provider’s needs.
Smooth Migration to Hybrid
As broadband is being added to broadcast or vice-versa, the same components can continue operate while newly added service management and delivery elements can easily enrich the existing system. This prevents service providers from reiterating time consuming integration works with their back-end systems.
Pre-integrated
In order to shorten the time-to-market and to minimize the cost, NAGRA’s service management and delivery products have been pre-integrated with other components of the NAGRA Federated Headend, as well as with leading third party ecosystem vendors (OSS/BSS, recommendation engines). On the client side, it has been pre-integrated with NAGRA’s OpenTV Middleware for set-top boxes and NAGRA Media Player for open devices.
