NAGRA provides services bringing multiple systems from many vendors together to meet the final customer’s business needs and goals.
Creating such end-to-end solutions can mean using off the shelf, pre-configured or completely customized hardware or software components. Such solutions need to be integrated with new or existing components and customer’s environment. In many cases existing components and interface standards must be preserved. NAGRA ensures that the solution is available within the timescales, budget & environmental constraints agreed on with the customer.
Prime Contracting
To allow our customers to remain focused on their business and revenue generating activities, NAGRA can take the overall responsibility for delivering the end-to-end turnkey solution. NAGRA is therefore the sole point of contact for the customer and acts on its behalf for the design of the solution, the selection of the partners and third parties and the management of the complete program (design, integration, testing, validation. acceptance and on-site deployment).

Solution Integration and Validation
The Solution Integration service consists of the end-to-end integration of all relevant components and sub-systems into a complete and validated end-to-end solution.

SI Program Management
NAGRA offers SI Program management (PGM) services to its customers. Such services consist in conducting the traditional PGM activities in a multi-party environment, including the development of statements of work, the control of third parties as well as global risk analysis and mitigation following a proven methodology that ensures high quality delivery.

Headend Integration
The headend (HE) integration service is the process of conducting pre-integration, integration and validation of the complete HE system. The HE integration and validation service can be hosted by NAGRA in its secure facilities or on customer premises.

Operator Device (STB) Integration
The operator device (STB) integration service consists of the complete integration and validation of the STB solution for the customer. In addition, NAGRA can offer the use of the TESC testing centre with its infrastructure and expertise suitable for operators with a multi-STB environment. The automated testing infrastructure ensures that a robust STB is delivered to site.

Solution Lifecycle Management
NAGRA has continuously invested in developing and adopting new methodologies to improve its execution and quality capabilities. The Solution Lifecycle is a powerful tool that identifies project milestones that are monitored and tracked throughout the lifespan of a customer solution (i.e. from architecture to maintenance phase). It allows to proactively identify issues and address them with an action plan.
NAGRA applies its solution lifecycle methodology to all of our programs, including SI and Managed Services.
