EDEN CPA DDA E7020 RECEIVES EMVCO TYPE APPROVAL

Cheseaux, Switzerland – November 17, 2009 – EDSI, a Kudelski Group (SIX: KUD.VX) company, today announced that its EDEN CPA DDA e7020 software received EMVCo Type Approval.

“The approval by EMVCo of our EDEN CPA DDA e7020 software marks a significant step in the building up of our EMV CPA software range. With this second software we now meet the needs of our clients wishing to benefit from both the advanced features of EMV CPA and increased security through Dynamic Data Authentication (DDA),” commented Lucien Gani, Chairman of EDSI.

EMV CPA (Common Payment Application) is the result of the joint efforts by Mastercard, Visa, JCB and American Express to offer a standardized payment application and ease EMV migration.

EDEN CPA DDA e7020 is an advanced native software of EDSI EMV CPA compliant range supporting both Dynamic Data Authentication (DDA) and Combined DDA / AC Generation (CDA) and enabling offline enciphered PIN verification.
